Some people just take their coffee drinking WAY too serious… Now I really don’t have a problem with people who like drinking “good coffee” (as if there is such a thing) but I do have a problem with people who think they are better then me because they have been brainwashed by Starfucks Inc into thinking they are cool because they are drinking some lame ass coffee that a corporation made cool to drink.
Now people who mind their own business and buy good coffee grind it up and drink their coffee without looking down on me with my styrofoam cup of shitty Folders coffee y’all are cool with me. New Years Upgrade

Well I went and tried to do that server / linking upgrade I promised in my New Years Resolutions 2007. So far it’s been a tough one, I didn’t realize how much work it would be and I have left some major parts of the blog a little broken. At this time I think there are still a lot of links that are broken which I’m hurrying to fix up for everybody. If you see some thing broken or that seems wrong (missing links) video that isn’t working go ahead and post a comment.

Here are a few of the major improvements:

1. Comment authors are now remembered, no more retyping your info.
2. Upgraded to 2.06 …

The Fight, The Upgrade & The Fall Out

Christine is pissed at me, this isn’t anything new, although it is rare that I get her this upset. However today I decided to turn the immense amount of quiet time I have been handed into something constructive.

Code and Upgrades.
1. Fixed up our RSS 2.0 Feeds.
2. Added Excepts to make the page a little easier to read.
3. Upgraded to 2.05 from 2.02 (big jump there)
4. Took out the preview comment because it was slowing the sight a bit.

The boy is talented and he worked hard on this one (still finding time to take me out, buy me a birthday gift, and put in a few sessions between the sheets), so give him some props. -)

It’s amazing how damn much lame ass spam we have gotten since the upgrade. I’m guessing that I broke something on the comment page that makes it so the 3 spam filters (spam karma, bad behaviro and the default wordpress spam filter arn’t working as well as they should). Anyway Christine decided to seek solace in Canada from this problem, she is claiming she is seeking political asyslm but.. as usual.. I don’t believe a word she is saying.

The New & Improved Chris vs Chris!

Well, y’all… here it is! Christopher worked is cute little ass off for weeks on the redesign (I helped some… by reorganizing content and offering feedback on the layout, and by giving him a little oral encouragement every now and then and this is what came of all the labor… the brand new cvc site.

Personally, I love it!

It’s not quite perfect yet… Christopher is still working on fixing a few bugs here and there (I don’t think it works in IE yet either– a big bug), but it’s way faster than our old site, it has a much more organized home page so you can see more posts without scrolling and clicking on as many links, and …
