Seriously People, it’s just a JOKE

So I have the pleasure of living in a city with quite possibly the dumbest people on the planet. They seem to mostly congregate mostly City Government, or the schools. ( Los Angeles School District or the Teachers Union leadership specifically ) yep, these people are pretty much incompetent. So I wake up this morning to the wonderful news that:

A black firefighter who was served dog food in his dinner by fellow firefighters has been awarded a settlement of 2.7 million dollars by the Los Angeles City Council,.

The decision will settle the lawsuit in which Tennie Pierce, 51, alleged that racial harassment within the Los Angeles Fire Department motivated his colleagues to mix canned dog food in his …

Lacking Perspective on Muslims

As much as I enjoy ripping on the Muslims tonight I am going to come to their defense. Earlier this week my mother forwarded me an e-mail about the fact that the United States Postal Service was issuing a stamp commemorating a Muslim holiday. She was outrage that the United States would issue a stamp for the Muslims the same group of people she felt who attacked us on 9/11 and at various other times. I felt it was important to point out to her that we have a separation of church and state here in America. TThis separation of church and state that allows us the freedom of religion also makes it essential for the …

The Illegal Immigration Battle: The War Rages On

Just when you think it can’t get any more complex… the war against illegal immigration decides to throw another log into the fire.

Now for those of you who’ve read my previous posts on illegal immigration, you know where I stand. I believe that illegal immigration (and our lazy approach to preventing it) is having a tremendously negative impact on our economy, our public education system, day-to-day business, and health care benefits that were designed to assist low-income Americans who couldn’t otherwise afford it. I am all for building walls, arming our border agents, and telling people who come here and want to have babies at free clinics so that taxpayers …

Austrians Follow In Americans’ Footsteps: Lose Sense of Humor

The epidemic of political correctness has seemingly jumped the Atlantic and is taking shape in Vienna, Austria as Austrians, like their American counterparts, watch their sense of humor flushed down the toilets.

Marianne Lackner, media spokesperson for the Vienna Department of Women’s Affairs, publicly stated that the department found “[them} tasteless, misogynistic and offensive.” What was she referring to? Urinals.

Now personally, I’m not a big fan of urinals either. I never understood them really… they look like sinks with rubber, holey stoppers in the drain part, and they don’t smell so good. But what’s got a group of people in Vienna all up in a dither are the urinals at a lavishly decorated public restroom that …

A Comment on Names and the English Language

Okay, listen. Someone had to finally freaking say it, so I’m going to. Just because you decide to spell your plain old mundane name in some f’d up new way, does not make you unique or special. Granted, if your parents were idiots and decided to name you “Jeremy” but spell it “Jeramey” or “Jerrimee” or “Jarime” then you do get a few points on the sympathy scale for having ignorant parents. But if you, yourself, on your own, are willingly fucking with the spelling of your own name just to be different, or clever, or because you’ve recently come out of the closet, declared you’re gay, and want some sort of re-birth, then shut the …
