Okay… so Christopher and I have finally found something to debate about… -) He’s being very thick-headed about this, so I am going to post on this subject, and when all of you rush to my side and agree with me, he will see the errors of his ways and realize I’m right. At least, that’s the plan…Christopher does not think he needs to tip 15%.

So this week I decided to grab a soda off the roach coach at work.  So I go down snag a Classic Coke $1.50.  The next day I decide I need another soda so I repeat the process except now the price is $1.25 so I say.. “Yesterday the price was $1.25″ the nice Mexican lady smiles and say’s “Yes, you bought “Classic Coke” yesterday”  now up to this point I was vaguely aware of the fact that the bottle of soda I have picked up had the label written in Spanish.  At this point I looked at the bottle and thought to myself… this certainly seems like a bottle of Classic Coke.. but the label is in  Spanish.  The …

Seeing the Forest Through the Trees

Okay… so the title of this post is kinda lame. I’m surprised it got you to read it. But you did, so we’re off on the right foot… let’s just keep going.

So I’m sitting in the airport in Canada waiting for my flight back to the good ole US of A a couple days ago and as Christopher will tell you, I don’t have the focus to read more than four pages of a book at a time, so I’m sitting in the terminal, a book open in my lap, watching other people and listening to their conversations.

I observed something that is probably very mundane, but I found interesting nonetheless especially because you know I’m on my kick …

The Mystery of My Melty Ice Cream Sandwiches…

Five days ago, I bought a package of those Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches (love those things). Came home, stuck ‘em in my freezer. Three days ago, I went to eat one, opened the freezer, pulled out the package and opened it. The ice cream was kinda soft– not in a good way– in a sort of melty way and one of the cookie ends broke apart when I pulled it out. Weird, I thought.

Yesterday, I went to get another one, opened the package, and the same thing happened. A little too melted… Wondering if maybe there was something wrong with the compressor on my freezer, I pulled out a few other things (frozen hamburgers, …
