I’ve seen a few of them.. I dont have much patience to sit and watch a movie.. I get antsy.. Can’t sit still that long..

I can’t stand dumb and dumber though..

  2. Me says:

    (y) (y) (y) I love ll of the movies you listed. I am an aspireing move crittic and the only movie on the list I don’t like is National Lampoon’s Vacation, ()i’m not a Chevy Chase fan)

  3. Haas says:

Nice list, agree with most movies in it… I would have put Ace Ventura in there :p

  4. ProphetJoe says:

I love a good comedy, but I would never include Dumb and Dumber. I would add National Lampoon’s Animal House as one of the All-time greatest. Ace Ventura — definitely. Liar, Liar — yes. Many more…

  5. Christopher says:

I also am not a big fan of Dumb & Dumber.. (Fun with Dick & Jane way funnier) and Old School would have been farther down the list for me…

  6. Christine says:

However, when you think of funny movie moments… I can think of several in D&D… (blind kid saying “pretty bird” as he pets the headless bird, etc.) and I can’t think of a single one with Dick & Jane or Liar, Liar even though I remember them being funny too. Oh maybe the part where Jennifer Aniston thinks her boobs have gotten bigger overnight…

  7. Mara says:

    Yes, Ace Ventura is hilarious.

  8. Christine says:

You know what should’ve been on that list and I forgot… Borat. That was a damn funny movie.

  9. Haas says:

Borat!!! *Goes to throw up* That was one disgusting movie (n)

  10. Christine says:

LOL! Yes it was disgusting, wasn’t it…? I could barely stay in my seat I was squirming so much when they were wrestling naked.

  11. ProphetJoe says:

‘tine: the Jennifer Aniston scene was from a different movie, wasn’t it?? I’m pretty sure that was from Bruce Almighty — and yes, they were bigger ;)

  12. Christine says:

Oh yeah… I didn’t really like that movie that much… but the Steve Carrell one looks sort of good. I guess Liar, Liar wasn’t that memorable after all.

  13. alphasapien says:

what about the princess bride? or robin hood – men in tights.
There is also an Australian movie called Hercules returns…. if you can ever get your hands on it over there watch it, the first 10 mins are a bit slow but after you will wet yourself.

  14. Christine says:

I’ll bet Christopher could get a hold of that Hercules movie.

You know… I never saw Princess Bride. I think I started it and turned it off. Those are both old school though… I could name many more old school movies (I left them off the list because a lot of comedies don’t age well) but one of my faves was “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and an obscure Judd Nelson comedy called “Making the Grade.” “Airheads” was pretty funny too.
