Christopher is the Birthday Boy!

It’s that time of year again, folks. Today is Christopher’s birthday and he’s finally grown up… 29 years old! Last year, I wrote a little post about him when he turned 28, so I thought this year, I’d just list 29 facts about Christopher in honor of his 29th.

1. He is a great athlete who didn’t mind taking time to teach me how to be better at racquetball back when I really sucked so that I would eventually be a more challenging opponent and we could play more often.

2. He has an irrational fear of sharks and miniature crabs.

3. He has a very active imagination.

4. Even though he hates and distrusts women in general, he does a pretty good job of taking care of me.

5. Simple things make him happy. Like: hash browns, country fried steak, Coke, video games, beating me at Chess.

6. He has a good sense of humor most of the time.

7. He’s extremely generous.

8. He’s got a damn nice build.

9. If there’s something he can’t talk intelligently about, he’ll research it until he can (with the exception of spelling).

10. There is no one more fun to watch football with than Christopher.

11. He always makes me laugh when I’m having a bad day.

12. He is very loyal to the people he cares about.

13. He always puts forth an effort.

14. On ocassion, he lets me see his softer side, even if it’s only for a brief moment.

15. He really likes boobies.

16. He has excellent taste in women.

17. He’s the first one to encourage me to go the doctor if I’m sick, but won’t go himself.

18. He never gives up.

19. He kills spiders for me.

20. He’s supportive always, but never just tells you what you want to hear.

21. When he smiles, it makes me want to smile too.

22. His favorite fish is orange roughey (I just learned this last weekend).

23. He is the most non-pretentious person I know.

24. He’s good at darts.

25. He never takes the soup or salad, even if it comes with the meal.

26. He’s fine with the generic version of pretty much everything except ketchup. (He swears Heinz is the best).

27. He’s pretty easy going most of the time (except for when he’s not).

28. His favorite part of going to a movie is eating the nachos and popcorn.

29. He is my best friend and has proven time and again that I can count on him to be there when I need him.
