Today is Christopher?s birthday.
So… I thought I?d take a few minutes to write a little post about Christopher in honor of his special day…
| When Christopher?s not spending his time devising unexplored methods of making me completely insane, he?s usually hunched over his computer figuring out new ways to code this website, sprawled out on his sofa flipping between ESPN and the History Channel, or kicking my ass at racquetball. In short, he?s sort of a computer geek/couch potato/jock type… with a damn nice build and sexy blue eyes that can usually convince me that I should not be pissed at him even when he deserves it (which is a large percentage of the time). | He grew up in Pennsylvania (so he still uses bizarre words like ?sweeper? instead of ?vacuum?) and graduated from Penn State (he?s a proud Nittany Lion?whatever that is…). |
He?s been known to get a ?mojito? when he goes out, even though a $100 says he?ll never spell that word correctly.
| He?s the kind of guy who will rant on about how homeless people wouldn?t be homeless if they?d just get over their victim-mentality, and then turn around and hand a homeless guy twenty bucks. |
He can’t remember my birthday or my middle name, but he remembers when I casually mention I like a song on the radio and sends me the mp3 the next day.
| He?s the kind of person who stands his friends up for dinner without bothering to call and actually cancel, but would be the first to pony up cash to bail them out of jail. |
He?s the only guy I?ve ever met who accuses me of being a ?spoiled little brat? and then takes me to a store and tells me to pick out whatever I want because he?s going to buy it for me.
What can I say? Christopher is full of dichotomies… but in short, he?s a pretty fucking good guy. He takes care of the people he cares about, stands up for what he believes (even when his conservative beliefs are totally misguided), and never stops learning and growing.
