Its sad how the media’s priorities have changed from accurate info to putting info up first. Its gone so much out of control now that I fear it will never go back.
I would probably prefer if the media could be held responsible for the accuracy of the info… but they will prob cover that by saying “unconfirmed report coming in…”

You all know what a democracy is, right? Demo means people–it’s a government of the people.
You all know what aristocracy means, right? Aristocrats rule.
Then there’s Plutocracy, where the rich rule. And let’s not forget oligarchy, where a council rules. And, of course, monarchy where a king rules.
I used to say we were a democracy (even though we were founded on the principles of a republic). But lately, I have a new name for our government.
You see, we’re more and more govered by the *media*.
Thus, we’re a “mediocrity”.

The biggest defence that such idiots have is the freedom of speech when they say that not giving out such “unconfirmed” reports takes away their freedom.
All they care about is their ratings and revenues, never once bothered about how they affect the lives of the people, the comman (wo)man

they never stopped for one second and thought about the families… pathetic!

To make this story even more sad… I just heard this morning that they found four notes on the miners that the guys had written to their families saying goodbye.
