I know what you’re thinking…
1. The new Adelphia slogan is freakin’ cool. Nice job, Christopher!
2. Christopher is an angry guy. Duh. I’ve been trying to tell you that for months. By the way, although it sounds like something I would definitely say, I didn’t once mention that the leaching of cable could somehow affect Christopher’s karma. I have learned that employing “karma” in a plea to get Christopher to do anything (a) simply doesn’t work, and 
will result in a half hour diatribe from Christopher about how stupid karma is. So, while I see the situation with Christopher’s Adelphia proof that karma is at play, I know he does not.
3. Let’s clarify that part about me acting like a child on crack… Here’s what happened. Christopher calls me and asks if I’ll do him a favor. I say sure. He asks me to log on to Adelphia’s site and give him the 800 number for customer service. As I’m waiting for my computer to boot up, he gets impatient, says, “Nevermind.” and hangs up. Normally I would be pretty pissed about someone asking me for a favor, and then after I graciously agree to do it, having them hang up on me because my computer is not fast enough (don’t forget that Christopher also calls me from his car when he’s lost and asks me to Mapquest things for him). So I hang up. I dial him back. He’s on the other line and not picking up, so I assume he called 411 and got Adelphia’s number that way (which is what he should have done in the first place). I leave a message explaining that I didn’t appreciate the whole hanging up thing. But I’m still very calm, cool, and crack has not yet entered the picture. So then he calls me back when he gets off with Adelphia and he’s on his way to their offices (I assumed to kill them) and the connection on our cell phones is bad. Either mine, or his hands=free… I don’t know. But I couldn’t hear anything but static. I say, “I can’t understand what you’re saying. I can’t hear you.” And he starts yelling, “CAN YOU FUCKING HEAR ME NOW???!!!” I say, “Stop yelling at me.” He says, “I HAVE TO FUCKING YELL BECAUSE YOU CAN’T FUCKING HEAR ON YOUR FUCKING CELL PHONE, YOU FUCKING DEAF BLONDE!” And that’s when I decided the conversation was over and I very calmly said Goodbye. So… while he knows that calling me “Chrissy” irks the shit outta me, the apology in the post was genuine and warranted.
But I’m glad we got through this. Cable company rapes can be traumatic and Christopher is truly a survivor.

Man that reallys sucks, and what really sucks is the fact is all they have to do is flip a swicth and there goes everthing back on in a sec. after hours of headaches

I have Adelphia and unfortunately I have no other choice. I pay 134.00 a month for internet and cable. You can’t have one without the other they said. What a rip off. For weeks now my internet connection has been giving me problems. They finally came out and replaced the modem. I wonder how much that will cost me. I wish there was another alternative. Until then, I guess I’m stuck.

This sounds like Comcast. I honestly I do not think I have had as many headaches with any other company I have done business with, but they are the only game in town when it comes to cable.

yes, adelphia blows. I’ve recently exposed them for the suck asses they are on my own site, and have switched to SBC/Yahoo! DSL as a result. Come over to the light.
