i think the players are over paid when put in reference to the armed forces people that died in the middle east,but when you look at the mortality rate for football players it is 10 to 15 years shorter than your average couch potato, but does thst warrant 100 mill in one players pocket? no, but i’ve said it before that it’s not what you’re worth, it’s what they’re willing to pay

Yes players in all sports are ridiculously overpaid primadonnas. There are thousands of ppl out there who are just about as good as them that would give there left nut to play pro ball hockey etc. and play hard b/c they love and respect the game. Hell I would play for the league minimu and be the happiest person alive becaus eI know I dont have to go to an office or do bull shit all day to make minimum wage or $20/ hr or what ever it is u make at your job. I have pretty much said fuck pro sports altogether. I haven’t even acknowledged the floating joke (otherwsie known as the nba) since larry bird retired and ppl actually made 70% from the line on avg. Shit nfl players can’t even make one sack or a tackle without doing some kind of fucked up west african tribal dance. Now baseball I sport I played and loved for so long I gave up on when the players went on strike for even more fucking $$ than they were getting, now its a joke b/c of asshole like bonds and palmiero. Hockey is the game I love and cheris, and it’s on my shit list as well. But I watch that and golf before anything else. Unless it’s college football or college hockey then I tune it b/c at least those kids are trying for a reason and play hard game in game out!
