Yes I did ask her NOT to eat the cards.. I will give her props for being the most creative Magic player ever. She can utterly make up some rules.. and then look at you STUNNED if you question them…
Rule: Draw 7 random cards…
Christine’s Rule: I want to pick the 7
Rule: Use the Cards in your hand
Christine’s Rule: This one isn’t useful I’m going to trade it out for a new one…
Rule: Under certain circumstances you can respond to what one player did.
Christine’s Rule: She can respond regardless of how many card she has, or even if she has cards that work in that situation.
Rule: When damaged either your creature is damaged or the player is directly damaged.
Christine’s Rule: Pfffft… Damage me… ya right.. my turn.
Rule: When a my creature dies it is removed from the game.
Christine’s Rule: When my creature dies, it becomes her creature.
I could go on.. and on..
I think a lot of the misunderstanding may have had to do with the person “teaching” me how to play…
He tells me I can build a deck, but then he won’t let me pick out the cards I want.
He tells me to respond to what he did, so I pulled a card from the deck that stops him, and then he tells me that I can’t respond.
When I killed his creature, it died. I did not try to take it. It wasn’t even that good of a creature… why would I want it?
And the only reason I said one of my cards wasn’t useful is because Christopher decided it would be simpler– being a Magic virgin and all– for us to not play with the “fading counter” rule and three of my cards in my hand were things that bring back your faded counters. Therefore, “it wasn’t useful.”
Do you now see what I have to deal with???
Just gimme some pretzels and I’m happy.
But honestly, my Magic rules make the game much more fun. I suggest you try them.
Her playing in her panties makes the game way more fun..
Someone is going to teach me how to play Magic. Is it worth playing?
It’s a very deep game, interesting and complex. It’s like chess but deeper and more options.
