Sad but True… *sigh*

The other day, I needed to go to the emergency room. Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch that I had downloaded off the Internet onto the front of my shirt. When I went into the E.R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. ?I guess they decided that they weren’t that sick after all. Here’s the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you’re in need of quicker emergency service.

To expand on this subject, the ACLU has also just filed another injunction against the city of Encino for the passing a law forbidding people to rent to illigals… ahh what a bunch of worthless fucks. It’s amazing that a group that should be a good idea only fights for things that are bad for America. and on top of that fights for the rights of people who aren’t even American.. go figure… how about working on protecting our Freedom of Press or protecting our Right to Bear Arms…

The idea of the ACLU is a good one… but unfortunately, this organization has done more to break down the foundation of our country in the name of “civil liberties” than it has to actually protect civil liberties. They have become the “political correctness” police… and “political correctness” in and of itself limits our freedom of speech and freedom of expression. And yes, providing those whose lives are in danger due to tyrrany, genocide, religious persecution, etc. is a great cause, but that’s simply not the case with allowing anyone who wants to illegally enter our country because they feel they can make more money or they want their children to be born American citizens a free pass.

How about reading the Supreme Court cases on your so-called right to bear arms before berating the ACLU for it. It’s gone to the court, and the court has consistently decided that there is no individual right to bear arms, and that the amendment was meant to protect bearing arms for legitimate militia purposes.

At the expense of indulging a comment that is completely off the topic (apparently because “Anonymous” couldn’t find anything the ACLU was doing that actually had some value in protecting civil liberties, I will answer.

I don’t need to read Supreme Court cases on the right to bear arms, because I can go straight to the Constitution and read it for myself.

    Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Regardless of how complicated anyone would like to make this, the “people” are collectively made up of “individuals” and they have the right to keep and bear arms.

I didn’t read anything there about bearing arms from legitimate militia purposes… but even if it did, who is to decide what is a legitimate militia purpose? The government…? That would be awfully convenient, wouldn’t it? And are you suggesting that the writers of the constitution were capable of coming up with a foundation that would ultimately provide a government structure for the strongest country in the world… but they didn’t quite express themselves right on this particular amendment??? Please.

Now, why you’d give an example of the ACLU trying to limit constitution-guaranteed civil rights in your argument defending the ACLU when the organization was specifically created to protect civil liberties… I also don’t quite get.

Why don’t you get that whole argument together a little more and then get back to us…

Christine is issuing BEATDOWNS here on election day… and you would think she would be in a good mood considering the liberals will be taking over washington today… or maybe not.. ;)
