Spousal Permission Slips

Okay, so this has been floating around the internet, but it did make me laugh…

These are permission slips that each spouse has to fill out and get signed by the other before they’re allowed to go out with their friends. Read the HUSBAND’s first, then click on the one for the WIFE. ;-)

How sexist of you Christine — umm, and please don’t forward this to my wife!

  2. Christine says:

Actually… the whole thing is making fun of women, not men… but I still thought it was funny. I’m an equal opportunity sexist.

Yearghhhh… You linked to pdfs! Why not plain text or directly in the post itself >:P

  4. Christine says:

I don’t think I could really do it justice if the formatting was lost… the “officialness” is part of what makes them funny.

  5. Christopher says:

Yes.. men are the accountable ones.. men know there is no point in having women sign a contract since they won’t actual honor it…

  6. Christine says:

OR… men are likely the only ones that will do anything “inappropriate” during their night out with the guys… women needn’t go to such detail because it’s implied they can be trusted.

If guys were “accountable” and “honest” there wouldn’t be a need for such detailed permission slips, would there?
