The Great Pizza Cookoff

Today is the big day..
The day before the Superbowl when Christine has to attend her yearly Pizza cook off challenge. She is a past champion and the pressure is on for her to make a great pizza! I gave her my best advice… (make something I will like) and she just rolled her eyes and said I’m not making a pizza YOU will like.. ( that’s love eh? ). I do think she is ready for the challenge though, she destroyed me at Suduko tonight.. ( that must be a good sign right? ) I get to attend this years party for a little while and I’m anxious to help her on her way to a victory… ( remember if your not cheating your not trying ) and I’ll do my part to make sure her Pizza is the only one that isn’t making people sick. I do have one last piece of advice… NO GOAT CHEESE.

    LOL!

Okay… no goat cheese on this one even though I like goat cheese pizzas. And he’s welcome to attend the party for more than “a little while,” he just likes to show up to parties and then skate out early– he received the same invitation as everyone else.

I won two years ago with my “cheeseburger pizza” which had ground beef, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, and shredded lettuce over tomato sauce making it taste like–yes– you guessed it. A cheeseburger.

This year, I’ve been wavering between two ideas and now I will go to the grocery store and make my decision as I am walking down the aisles. Inspiration will hit me I”m sure… and I don’t need Christopher to sabotage the other pizzas for me… but it was a nice thought, babe. ;-)

I gotcha back.. your going to be the first two time champion!

  3. Christopher says:

Well Christine got disqualified because I got caught putting a beer cap in another contestant’s pizza. It would have probably been ok with the guys.. but the other contestant was her mom.. and everybody seemed to frown upon that pretty bad… not to mention that if I was willing to sabotage her mom’s pizza, lord only knows what I would do to theirs. I have to say this was an HONEST mix up.. there were two BBQ pizza’s I just sabotaged the wrong one.

You might think it would be a disadvantage having Christopher in your corner… like oh, say, getting you disqualified. However, it’s not. It really is an advantage, and I’ll tell you why… Uh, hrmm…. could you explain to me again Christopher about why it’s an advantage…?

I was intimidating people into giving you compliments… if you would have been allowed to win I’m sure you would have. ;)
