The Prehistoric Shark

Just when I thought I’d be able to coax Christopher back into the water despite his fear of sharks, crabs, and anything else that might pinch, sting, or bite him… they had to discover this prehistoric shark.

It’s called a frilled shark and it was spotted by a fisherman in Japan on January 21st. At over 5 feet long, the unique-looking shark was caught and transferred to a marine park where it died a few hours later.

Officials think the shark was already sick when it was caught– which explains why it may have come to the surface.

Pretty cool looking… I gotta say…

I had this same thing on my computer.. sitting here going to write a post about it.. then I decided some things should just be left alone.. namely prehistoric sharks!

I think it might have died because of the massive fever blister thing on its lip (pretty obvious in the first picture). But these things are still freaking cool I have to say…

This things looks soooo much more scarier than “normal” sharks.. Modernisation has been an improvements for the sharks atleast ;)

Ha! Funny way to look at that.
