I can’t help but feel this as a whole, or at least paragraph 3 is directed at me personally chris! I agree that I think houston fucked up by not taking bush b/c he brings so much to the table, but listening to them, it was a football decision, and they needed help on pas rushing. I don’t see bush blitzing any time soon! I persoanl;ly wouldn’t have done it, but hey i’m not the owner, and they obviously saw something in williams to make him their number 1.

I defintely disagree with you on Vince young you know as i said on the phone i will reitterate for all to read, just in not so many words…

Vince Young will fucking flop! Running QB’s never last in the NFL…It is greta tohave a qb with the ability to run when he has to like Mcnabb or Steve Young before he retired. But what the had was the ability to actually throw the ball with accuracy and effectively. Young is like Michael Vick who if he is such this great QB why haven’t the falcons haven’t won a playoff game or won the superbowl already with this super qb? Why can’t he even finish a fucking season? B/c he runs to much…a true qb needs to throw the ball down the field and if he can’t then as a last ditch effort run to make a positive gain if possible.

These two are great athletes but shitty QB’s. I don’t take anything away from them on their athleticism. They are exciting and i would want the ball in their hands, but do it the right way as a receiver not a qb. Leave that to the guys who can throw the ball like Brett Favre, Ben Rothlisberger, Peyton Manning and the likes. Just to name a few!

Yes i did see the rosebowl, and usc’s defense was spotty at best. they had a few good players, but the defense as a whole was weak. just like all the teams he played against. He is the product of a weak conference opponents the last 2 years. The Big 12 is a joke of a confernce. None of them had a decent team…gimmie a break Baylor, colorado, iowa st. kansas, kansas st., missouri, texas tech and a&m, and oklahoma st. are awful. nebrask, and oklahoma are the only two with half a team, and they both sucked ass this entire year.

The only real opponet they played was Ohio State, and it was the first game of the year. OSU improved as the season went on, and actually would have one had they not played thier cheesy ass qb they did. Texas at OSU in mid season OSU kicks their ass, and I hate OSU. USC is the no better the PAC 10 is a pitiful conference. NO wonder they won so many games in-a-row. When you get to play teams like washington, wash. st. oregon st. ucla, cal stanford, arizona in football you are going to win..If you haven’t noticed those school thrive in basketball not football. Except the 2 washington school the succeed at neither.

If you re-read what i said i gave him credit for being a great athlete. i didn’t take that away from him, but he isn’t a good qb.

Also if you put USC and Texas in the Big 10 or SEC they lose at least 3 games last year alone., and don’t get to play in the rosebowl…USc would never have had the long winnng streak they did,b/c it would even have been close against quality opponents week in week out!

hahah i explained my feelings on the phone today 2 u…but for everyone else who wasn’t privy to our discussion.. i said V. Young will never succeed unless something is done with his mechanics…They suck and Chris even agreed when i said his delievry is awful, and unless it’s changed he won’t get shit done b/c his release is too low. NFL linemen and line backers will be swatting that shit down left and right!

Alsoanother late thought i forgot to add… take a good look at Michael Vick… he is a prime example what happenes to running QB’s in the NFL. These guys have beter instincts than college players, and are the fastest 250 ppl u ever saw. I can’t wait till he decides he thinks he can do in the NFL what he did in college against Brian Urlacher, Dan Morgan, LaVarr Arrington, Ray Lewis, or Shawne Merriman! To name just a few! He will get his clock cleaned and end up injured like just like Vick… You need to throw the ball because the speed of the linebackers and even the defensive ends is so fast they have you contained and they will rock your world!

lendale white is yet to be proven as a premier back in the nfl, and after he just fucked himself up in the camps and combines, and not refusing to work out after the fact who knows how strong he is going to be? I’m not sold… I think lendale will be a stud, but he’s no barry sanders thats going to be an imediate impact rookie year!
