In preparation for Valentine’s Day, I’ve put together a playlist for all the guys who want their girlfriends/wives to think they are romantic when they actually aren’t:
Add this to you Songza!
1. Just Another by Pete Yorn
2. Glory Box by Portishead
3. Undress Me Now by Morcheeba
4. Beautiful by James Blunt
5. Your Body is Wonderland by John Mayer
6. Calling You by Blue October
7. You and Me by Lifehouse
8. By My Side by INXS
9. Sistinas by Danzig
10. Everything I Do by Bryan Adams
11. So Alive by Love and Rockets
12. Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls
13. One Headlight by the Wallflowers
14. Ever the Same by Rob Thomas
15. Sweet Child O’ Mine by Guns ‘N Roses
16. Always on My Mind by Elvis Presley
17. Killing Me Softly with His Song by Roberta Flack
18. No Ordinary Love by Sade
19. Riders on the Storm by The Doors
20. Breathe by Faith Hill
That’s more like instant birth-control for the guys. Even Viagra couldn’t overcome that disfucntional list!
Then maybe you should try fucking a girl. :p
Just kidding… LOL.
Well, you sort of just proved my point, Routerguy. If you read the list and are more concerned with how you’re going to like the music than she will, you aren’t exactly focusing on what SHE will find romantic– which, as I stated, was the point of the post.
But whatever. Even Christopher called me this morning to tell me the list sucked…
I’m just saying to the guys that sometimes it would be nice to try to think about what the woman in your life would like instead of what you want to listen to. And Valentine’s Day seems like a good day to do that. But I certainly don’t expect everyone to be receptive to that.
And maybe this particular list won’t be her favorite romantic songs– but I know she’ll appreciate your effort in trying. *shrug*
What is a songza?
http://www.songza.com
It’s a site that allows you to create playlists and share songs.
or my favorite Jimmy Buffet song “Why don’t we get drunk and screw”. Hell, it don’t get more romantic than that! Get er done!

The men on this blog obviously need more help than I realized. And PJ… you may be way too far gone. :p
Where is it written that valentines day focuses on the female half of the relationship? Equality, I say, and having said that, second the motion for PJ’s recommendation.
Where is it written that V-day focuses on the female half of the relationship? Nowhere. But maybe you missed the first sentence of the post…
“In preparation for Valentine’s Day, I’ve put together a playlist for all the guys who want their girlfriends/wives to think they are romantic when they actually aren’t:”
Now if you’re not one of the guys who want their gf or wife to think they’re romantic when they actually aren’t, then you’re obviously not the audience it was written for. Since you’re clearly very much a romantic, I don’t think you need to feel threatened about your equality.
You’re right, I completely missed the first sentence somehow! Apologies for commenting on a post that was clearly directed at a different audience!
vive el romance!
i think its a lie caz most of da pplz dont believe all those.
realy i love so much
This isn’t even musically consistent. There is no bass, no groove, no continuous rhythm… It’s a terrible “list of music” to begin with. Too much vocals… and most of these are contemporary “Top 50″ songs. This isn’t a sex playlist at all.
Here’s something …

Thanks for this post. Although too vocal I think these still are great songs and in many occasions can be nice when dating and having fun
Very interesting post;) generally have a nice blog and good content in your posts. Have a nice day.
